Meet the New 3Commas AI Assistant

Why We Built It

We heard the same thing from many new users: “I want to build a bot, but I don’t know where to start.”

And even long-time users often said: “How do I turn my trading idea into a setup that works?”

Both groups were running into the same problem. They had an idea, but turning it into real bot settings took too much effort. The Assistant is here to make that process easier, faster, and much less stressful. It can:

• Answer your trading questions and explain 3Commas features in a simple way
• Turn your strategy ideas into bot settings
• Run backtests and show the results in the chat
• Suggest ways to tune the settings so the bot performs better
• And start the bot once you confirm you're ready

What You Can Do With It Today

Right now the assistant focuses on DCA bots. More bot types will come later.

Here’s what you can expect:

1. Ask any question

The assistant explains tools, settings, limits, and all core features. It uses current Help Center data, so you get answers that match the latest updates.

2. Create a strategy with one short message

You can type something like:

“Make a DCA bot for short trading ETH, steady settings, nothing risky.”

The assistant will fill in what it knows and ask about what’s missing.

3. See a strategy card

It builds a clean strategy card with all key details and shows Backtest and Start buttons.

4. Run the backtest

You get fast results right in the chat.

5. Launch your bot

If you like the numbers, press Start, and the bot is created and running.

But it can’t make decisions for you, and it never gives financial advice.

What’s Coming Next

We’re continuing to work on the Assistant to make it even more useful. Here’s what you can expect in future updates:

• Support of all 3Commas bot types
• Ability to manage, backtest, and fine-tune your existing bots for better performance
• Better knowledge about exchange limits and other factors that can prevent the Assistant from making for you a working bot on the first try

We’ll keep improving the Assistant as we collect feedback and expand what it can handle.

About Usage and Limits

To keep costs under control, each user has a monthly allowance of 1 million tokens.

That’s usually enough for:

• 20–100 strategy setups
• About 1,000 regular messages

This should be enough for regular use, but if many people start bumping into the limit, we’re open to expand it.

Give Your AI Assistant Feedback. It Helps a Lot

If the strategy looks off or the backtest is weak, let the Assistant know.

If something breaks, tell the Assistant to fix it.

If you want a better version of the setup, ask for it.

The AI Assistant can improve, adjust, and fix mistakes. Many of the best results come on the second or third try.

Where We’re Heading

We want to build something simple, friendly, and actually helpful. A tool that makes bot creation feel less like filling out a form and more like talking to someone who understands what you need.

Think of it as a chat window where your ideas turn into working bots.
