Recommended settings
Volume: at least 5 BTC, but change based on your trade size. Larger trade sizes require more volume
Take profit: start taking profit around 2%-3%.
DCA: We recommend to use DCA levels to buy more when the price drops further. We've seen good results with 3 DCA levels. Make sure you adjust your trade size as with DCA you can run out of funds quickly.
Stop loss: We recommend setting a stop loss to ensure your position is not lost completely in case of a bad trade. We recommend around -15%. We strongly advice not to go without a stop loss if you don't want to manually save yourself out of a trade
Time based: Don't close within 3 days as many trades return within 3 days.
Trailing stop: We don't recommend using a trailing stop as this uses market orders and can yield more losses than profits.
Number of trades per market: We recommend 1 position per market, especially if you trade multiple terms at the same time.

About the Crypto Base Scanner
The Crypto Base Scanner started in December 2017 and is heavily based on the QFL base trading strategy.
The base trading strategy works well in all types of markets.
All the markets are scanned automatically by our proprietary algorithm. Because it's fully automated, all emotion has been removed from the decision making.
Crypto Base Scanner will send signals to 3Commas if a market has broken a support level with a percentage equal to the median drop level. For example if the BTC-USD price usually drops 4% below a support level, then 3Commas will receive the first signal at 4% below the support level. If the ETH-USD price usually drops 5% below a support level, then 3Commas will receive the first signal at 5% below the support level.

We've also been testing our BTC signals with an automatic trading bot since January 2019 and we are currently up 75% in BTC value.
With fully automatic trading, stop losses will be triggered sometimes (or more frequently if you set it too low), but usually after a loss we see a recovery period.
